I felt the sidechained noise was a bit too loud, and everything else a bit too soft.

Yea I agree. I'll edit the noise a bit.
The noise makes stuff sound soft and smooth.
Heh I have to say, I almost fell asleep when I made this track <3
Thanks for useful criticism :3
The composition is great. But the way it sounds mangles my ears. Keep working on it.
Yeah, you're absolutely right. It's been a while since I made this, an I personally think the mix is terrible. I think my mixing/mastering skills have improved A LOT since this track, and I'm looking forward to improve this monstrosity.
Thanks for the reminder! :]
//Kabalist.
It's fine and all. But I really fail to see where dubstep fits into this.
It's more of the melodic, chilled kind.
Personally I think a few of the notes were an octave too low to do decent chords, especially at the beginning. Other than it's pretty nice.
Hmm? Well looking back I do go really low down there. But I never had a problem with it. Its my favorite part in fact!
I like this a lot, there's a lot of good things happening, Keep pushing!
Thanks!
Loving so hard.
Thank you, and merry Christmas!
The intro was really whack.
It going from a different vibe initially. then it went for something completely different at the first break. cheers for the comment though! :)
Man this is the kinda shit I love. Kick it Barack.
Hell yeah man!
The only issue I have with this song is the EQing. There are a lot of places where things cut out, especially on the low end, whenever the kick hits. It's a bit distracting and makes it sound kind of hollow. There are also a few places where just playing with the volume levels a bit could have solved some problems. Instead of jamming it all into a compressor like I'm prone to doing. I gotta get away from that.
I am not very good at EQing imo, but I hope this helps a little bit.
Hey Faun thanks for dropping your mind !
Yeah, I agree I'm definitely not a pro at mixing for sure. You can hear the sound saturate at some moments. Though, I did played on volume levels, pano and equalizers, but I can feel that the space occupation is far away from powerful songs like knife party, or stuff like that !
Thanks for pointing out the issues of the track, but next time don't hesitate to indicate a timecode, because I'm sorry man, I don't find out what you're meaning by "things cut out" ha ha ha :P
